Today he bounced back from what most people thought was a bad day yesterday. In reality there was nothing wrong with it. The Giro is 3 weeks long, and everybody is always a little up and down. Astana Cycling Team
The new Astana Cycling Team is in its first year under the leadership of Johan Bruyneel, the eight-time winning Sports Director of the Tour de France. Sponsored by a conglomerate of companies hailing from Astana, the capital of cycling enthused Kazakhstan, the Team is a member of the highest level of competition in cycling, the UCI ProTour. With 30 riders representing 14 countries, the Team competes in a clean and ethical environment under the guidance of Dr. Rasmus Damsgaard’s anti-doping program.
